The Grandiflora, steadily taking root on Magnolia Avenue, features a diverse array of unique spaces—including a vibrant courtyard, an intimate piano bar, public garden and the Grand Hall, an inspiring backdrop for live performances.

We are thrilled to announce a premier creative partnership for our inaugural entertainment schedule. We are teaming up with the historic Bijou Theatre to host extraordinary performances that blend Grandiflora’s intimate, state-of-the-art setting with the Bijou’s charm and expertise.

This dynamic partnership brings high-caliber, world-class artists directly into our beautiful, brand-new performance space: the 500-seat Grand Hall. With these co-produced shows, we will hit the ground running the moment our doors open in spring 2027.

As a revitalized church sanctuary, the Grand Hall is the largest space at Grandiflora.

Opening Doors for Rising Talent

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Grandiflora,” says Courtney Bergmeier, executive director of the Bijou Theatre. “For years, Knoxville has been missing a flexible, mid-sized performance space that can serve both seated listening-room experiences and standing-room concerts. Grandiflora fills a critical gap in our live entertainment ecosystem and creates new opportunities for artists and audiences alike.

“As a community, we’ve done a remarkable job building pathways for artists to grow, but there has been a missing piece between our smaller venues and larger performing arts centers. The Grand Hall will provide an intimate, world-class space where emerging and developing artists can build audiences, refine their craft, and continue their journey toward larger stages such as the Bijou Theatre, the Mill & Mine, the Tennessee Theatre, the Civic Auditorium, and beyond. A rising tide raises all ships, and we’re delighted to be a partner in that growth.”
